Traditional Medicines Workshop

Walking with the land, learning the old ways

This workshop is a hands-on introduction to traditional Indigenous medicines, taught in the way these teachings have always been passed down, through relationship, story, and time on the land. Participants learn how to recognize medicines in their natural environment, the protocols for harvesting, and how medicines are prepared and used in everyday life.

Herbology is an ancient practice of the Nehiyawak, carrying a deep and specialized knowledge base passed down through generations of knowledge keepers. This workshop is led by our founding Elder, who has spent a lifetime learning and carrying these teachings. It offers a window into that world, grounded in respect for the land, the plants, and the people who carry these teachings.
